A crop top and high waisted skirt (or shorts) are the perfect look this summer for a day when it’s just too hot to put together an outfit. I love the cut of this simple racer-back crop top from Forever 21 and the color reminds me of a pool or the ocean. So chic for summer. And the aztec pattern skirt is an old piece from the Mossimo collections at Target a couple summers ago. I don’t expect that aztec prints will ever not be appropriate for summer. They’re so intricate and stylish. I love the warm tones of this skirt and the subtle pops of pink and turquoise in the print. I wore this look over the weekend and it felt like a great breezy option to battle the east coast humidity!

- A printed skirt | The aztec pattern I’m wearing is definitely hot for summer, but I’m also completely obsessed with the kaleidoscope trend right now. This graphic mini skirt is beyond words!
- Sandals | My braided leather Rainbows are always my casual go-to. Tkees would work well for this look also!
