June Favorites

It is officially the first week of July, meaning I can can recap all my style favorites from the month of June finally! There were plenty of great trends during June 2013, from mixed prints to crop tops paired with high waisted bottoms. Below are the 4 trends that I turned to frequently this past month, becoming my June favorites!

1. Gold jewelry – was basically my obsession this June. It seems so much more summery than silver, especially when mixing with rose gold. The colors seem to really pop. I love this spiked bangle from ILY Couture. It’s edgy without being such a statement that it’s too challenging to pair with day or work outfits. Gold Spiked Cuff

2. Silk bottoms were another one of my go to styles this June. They’re so light and airy – perfect to dress up or down. Obviously from my silk shorts rave earlier this month, it was more than just these pretty Joie pants below that satisfied my craving for the polished yet easy feel of a silk bottom.

3. High waisted skirts gradually became one of my favorite pieces this past month, especially as the temps climbed into the high 90s! I love the colors and print of this Naven skirt below. So summery & fun. Naven Printed High Waisted Skirt

4. Sunnies –  Of course we can’t forget about these! Although I haven’t been to the beach enough this summer yet to really warrant these, I did happen to snag a decent pair of knock-offs of the Prada Baroque sunglasses below. They are just so classic with the beautiful circular line of the frame. They’re particularly chic in the black color. I love the way we’ve been seeing fashion bloggers style them all month long. Prada Baroque Glasses
