One of my favorite fashion trends every fall is a cream cardigan. Sweaters of any type are always a good choice, but I just love the neutrals and creams that become so popular. Ivories and off-whites read so calm and easy-breezy to me. So what could be a more comforting piece to throw on in the fall than a rich, cream sweater?
So many ways to style this trend and below are a few of my favorites this year. Would love to freshen up my wardrobe with a couple great new sweaters!
The Light & Open Knit Cardigan –
Perfect for a chilly office or a nice relaxing brunch date, this pretty and simple cardigan from Hinge is darling. I would style this with some loose linen pants towards the end of summer or maybe a dark rinse jean as we transition into the fall months. A piece like this would be useful for so many different occasions – definitely a good buy for the next few months.
The Chunky Knit Sweater –
Everyone needs a nice chunky knit sweater for fall. This a great option from Free People. Would pair this with a wrap around scarf, maybe in a rich cranberry or a burnt orange for fall.
The Relaxed Crewneck –
Not exactly a cream color, this relaxed crewneck sweater from Rubbish would be a great comfy choice for those casual fall days. Layered over a cami or even a crisp white blouse, this would be a great top for a pair of jeans, khaki leggings, or skinny cream cords.
The Mixed Materials: Wool & Leather –
This sleek sweater by Theory features a leather front panel with wool sleeves. I love that this is in a cream color. There are so many black mixed-medium pieces on the market so it’s lovely to see such a modern brand offering a great option in cream. This would be such a wonderful piece for fall-winter, maybe even on those cooler days in Spring. Ah, kind of wishing I could talk myself into a purchase like this! For those of us who can swing it, I would certainly recommend this as it could be such a staple piece over the next several months.
