A Linen Blazer

This weekend, I attended a fun university alumni event with a close friend. It was a great excuse to dress up in cocktail attire and try out this new linen blazer I picked up for the spring season. It’s so tricky finding a jacket for the weather this time of year, particularly if you need anything dressier than just a jean jacket. So I’m completely head over heels with this simple yet professional option from H&M. I’m obsessed with its slim fit and cropped sleeves. It’s very lightweight and the pale beige color will complement nearly any color palette. I can’t wait to try pairing it with a pair of loose khaki trousers and a simple cream top for an all-neutral look. It will be stunning for the season’s upcoming graduation ceremonies.

  • Blazer: H&M – This adorable linen blazer is so lightweight and the three quarter length sleeves are perfect for spring. The inside is lined and the simple grosgrain collar finishes off the piece with a simple, feminine detail. I plan to wear this blazer a lot this season. It’s the quickest way to dress up an outfit and adds instant polish. I can’t find the exact link on their online site, but it should be available in the office-wear section of their retail stores. Here is a link to all their similar beige blazers.
  • Dress: H&M – no longer available online. But I love this similar skater skirt from Lulu’s in periwinkle. The v-neckline looks very structured and appropriate for a business setting or cocktail attire. Plus this shade is perfect for the spring season.
  • Heels: BCBGeneration – not available. Similar taupe pumps here.
